Department: Environmental and Natural Resources Group*
Office: San Francisco
Level: 3 – 4 years of experience (class year to be determined)
Description: The San Francisco office of Allen Matkins is seeking an associate to join its growing Environmental and Natural Resources Group (ENRG). The ENRG and its members have received recognition as a leading environmental law practice in California by local and national publications including Chambers, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers and The Recorder. The ideal candidate will have 3 – 4 years of experience in environmental regulatory and transactional counseling and environmental or closely-related business litigation. Candidates should have a strong academic record from a nationally-respected law school, as well as relevant prior law firm or government experience, and excellent references. We seek candidates with strong verbal and written communications skills and a commitment to excellence. The ENRG is a very collaborative group whose members work across all of our five California offices. We seek to expand with talented lawyers who are eager to tackle the challenges associated with a top-tier environmental practice.

Department: Real Estate, Hospitality Practice Group
Office: Los Angeles (Downtown), Century City, Orange County, San Francisco or San Diego
Level: 5 – 12 years’ experience (class year to be determined)
Description: A lawyer with experience working for hospitality industry clients on asset acquisition and disposition, financing, and management contracts.  Strong academic credentials and legal skills required. Experience as part of a top notch hospitality practice with high profile deals and clients preferred.

Level: 4 – 8 years of experience (class year to be determined)
Description: The Orange County office of Allen Matkins is seeking a mid to senior-level real estate associate. The ideal candidate will have 4 – 8 years of experience related to a broad range of real estate transactions including but not limited to leasing, purchase and sale, and/or development. This is an opportunity to work with some of the most highly regarded real estate lawyers in California on highly sophisticated matters. Candidates should have a strong academic record from a respected law school, as well as excellent references. Strong verbal and written communications skills and a commitment to excellence are also required.
