Morgan A. M. Shekhter is an associate in the San Diego office and a member of the Real Estate group. Morgan represents and counsels clients in the preparation and negotiation of commercial leases in the retail, office and industrial context. She also has a wide variety of litigation experience, including landlord/tenant disputes and business litigation.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins she was an associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
Morgan received her J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School, where she graduated in the top five percent of her class and was an articles editor for Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. She was also a Dean's Scholar and a Sayre Macneil Scholar. She was awarded First Honors Awards in Criminal Law, Evidence and Torts II. During law school, Morgan serviced as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judith Ashmann-Gerst in the California Court of Appeal. Before law school, Morgan earned her B.F.A. from Boston University.
