Louis T. Antosh Jr. is a commercial real estate finance partner in the Orange County office of Allen Matkins. Lou's practice focuses primarily upon the representation of banks, national life insurance companies, conduit lenders, private equity firms and other institutional lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions, including loan originations, modifications, note purchase agreements and other finance-related transactions from the initial structuring of the transaction through the closing of the loan. He has represented lenders in connection with numerous portfolio transactions secured by office buildings, hotels, retail shopping centers, self-storage facilities, MHCs and other types of real property located in California, Arizona, Nevada and various other states as well as complex finance transactions relating to energy projects. He also represents commercial loan servicers (both securitized and portfolio) in connection with loan assumptions, modifications, equity transfers, preferred equity transactions, post-closing issues and other loan servicing-related matters.
Lou also represents lenders in connection with enforcement of remedies, including loan modifications, forbearance agreements, judicial and non-judicial foreclosure, deed in lieu of foreclosure, and other resolution of distressed debt.
In addition to his lender representation, Lou represents borrowers in commercial finance transactions, including construction, bridge and permanent financings. His work with borrowers also includes real estate workouts and restructuring of loans. He also has significant experience representing borrowers in connection with the defeasance of securitized commercial loans.
Lou's experience includes all aspects of lending transactions at both the loan level and the property level, including complex title, survey and zoning matters relating to energy projects, entity formation, opinion letters other general real estate matters.

Lou graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1995. He earned his B.S. in management, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University in 1992.
