Steven M. Farenbaugh

Biography

Steven M. Farenbaugh is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office and a part of the Real Estate Practice Group. Steve’s practice focuses on representing clients ranging from institutional real estate investors to small companies and individuals in all facets of real estate transactions, with an emphasis on commercial leasing and acquisitions and dispositions. In connection with his leasing practice, Steve represents both landlords and tenants in office, retail, industrial, medical, shopping center and mixed-use projects throughout California, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Texas and various other states. In addition, Steve has extensive acquisition and disposition experience with respect to commercial office, industrial and retail properties and portfolios.

In 2012, Steve participated in the firm's summer associate program. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Steve was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Brian J. Back, Ventura County Superior Court.

Education

In 2008, Steve received his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College, majoring in psychology and history. While at Claremont, Steve was the captain of the men's soccer team. In 2013, Steve obtained his J.D. from Loyola Law School. At Loyola, he was an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review, and a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society. Steve received First Honors for obtaining the highest grade in the class, for both his Sports Law class, and Criminal Procedure class.
