R. Michael Joyce is a partner in the firm's Orange County office. For more than 30 years, he has practiced in all areas of real estate development and finance, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, complex financings, leasing and construction of office, industrial, retail and residential development projects.
Michael has advised some of the most prominent developers and property owners on their acquisitions, financings and joint venture work. He has consistently guided his clients in the formation and structuring of large, institutionally-backed development projects and investments. He also has extensive experience in the area of restructures.
Michael also has extensive expertise in the area of residential development and land use matters including the acquisition, entitlement, development and sale of some of Southern California's most widely-known master planned communities.
Michael has been a frequent panelist and lecturer for such programs such as CEB and BIA.

Michael received his A.B. degree, with honors, from Princeton University, in 1974, and his J.D. from the USC Gould School of Law, where he was awarded the Order of the Coif, in 1977.
