Biography

Michelle Moore McDermott is a partner in our San Francisco office and a member of the Land Use Practice Group. Her practice focuses on project entitlements, CEQA compliance and green buildings. Her clients have included a mix of real estate developers, large corporations, and small businesses throughout California, including a significant amount of work in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Silicon Valley.

Among a variety of projects, Michelle has assisted clients with the land use entitlement and CEQA process for office buildings/office parks, retail developments, hospitals, transit oriented developments, multifamily housing, storage facilities, and warehouses.

Michelle is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) with knowledge of sustainable building practices and an understanding of the LEED rating system. She has assisted clients in compliance with state and local green building requirements.

Michelle received her B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
