Biography

Heidi Eick Taliaferro is senior counsel in the firm’s Orange County office where she focuses on real estate law with an emphasis in purchase and sale and finance. Her experience includes representing lenders, borrowers, developers, and institutional clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition, development, management, and financing of various types of commercial real estate assets. Heidi has advised clients in connection with complex real estate transactions including the purchase, sale, and financing of office and industrial building portfolios, multi-family housing complexes, shopping centers, and hotels and resorts. Her practice includes negotiating and documenting various types of transactions for buyers, sellers, lenders and borrowers, including portfolio loans, institutional permanent loans, revolving construction loans, development acquisitions, commercial sales, securitized commercial mortgage loans, and the restructuring of nonperforming loans.

At Stanford, Heidi participated on the varsity volleyball team for four years and won the NCAA Championship in 1992.
