Pamela Andes and Cheryl Prell to be Honored
at Women of Influence in Real Estate Awards Ceremony
LOS ANGELES - Oct. 8, 2009 - Pamela Andes and Cheryl Prell, partners of Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP, will be honored by Real Estate Southern California at their annual Women of Influence awards ceremony on October 15, 2009.
This is the second year in a row Andes has been selected as one of Real Estate Southern California's Women of Influence. A partner in Allen Matkins' Orange County office with more than 20 years in the industry, her projects have included redevelopments on former aerospace sites, superfund sites, former manufacturing sites, operating oil and gas fields, former refineries, and closed military bases for residential, commercial, and industrial reuse. Real Estate Southern California also named Andes among the "Most Powerful Women in Commercial Real Estate" in 2004 and 2005.
Prell is a partner in Allen Matkins' Century City office. Her practice focuses on the leasing and ongoing management of office and industrial projects and retail shopping centers, as well as the acquisition, disposition, and redevelopment of retail and office building projects. Prell is also an organizer of REal Women, a group for female commercial real estate professionals that mentors young women of high school and college age regarding their career goals. She represents a variety of clients, including institutional investors and privately owned companies.
Andes and Prell will be honored among the "Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate" during the ceremony which will be held on October 15 from 11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The City Club in Los Angeles. They will be two of 40 women honored for their contributions to the real estate industry in Southern California.
