Robert A. Lurie is a partner in our Century City office. His practice focuses on the leasing and ongoing management of commercial office projects throughout California and Washington. Presently, Robert has primary responsibility for in excess of 6,000,000 rentable square feet of office space for his landlord clients.

Robert's clients include both institutional investors and entrepreneurial individuals and entities. He represents or has represented real estate investors such as Beacon Capital Partners, Equity Office Properties, J.P. Morgan, Blackstone, CarrAmerica, Morgan Stanley Real Estate, Summit Commercial Properties, Kamehameha Schools, J.H. Snyder & Company, Bentley Forbes, Wells Reit, Broadway Partners, Kilroy Realty, Davis Companies, LaSalle Partners, Lexington Commercial Holdings, and TrizecHahn Office Properties.

Robert has extensive experience in the negotiation and documentation of lease transactions, as well as in the analysis of complex legal and business issues raised by previously negotiated lease documentation. He regularly assists clients in developing strategies to resolve disputes arising in connection with such lease issues, giving due consideration to relevant documentation as well as to industry custom and market conditions.

Robert attended the UCLA School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1991 (Order of the Coif). He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he received his B.S. in business administration (finance emphasis) in 1987 (Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Beta Kappa).
