Ariel Shaeps is a real estate associate in our Century City office. He specializes in complex commercial and residential development, including all facets of design and construction. Ari has successfully negotiated and closed approximately $7 billion in construction contracts all over the West Coast, including various trophy projects such as the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco.

While Ari specializes in construction and development, he also has experience in a wide range of real estate and commercial issues, including the review, analysis, and preparation of documents associated with acquisition and leasing transactions. He has also assisted clients through all facets of litigation.

Ari has given seminars on a variety of legal issues regarding construction contracts. He has negotiated with all major design firms and contractors working in California and is often leaned upon for counsel on business issues as well, given his knowledge of the industry. Ari is the "go to" lawyer for many of the Firm's top clients.

Ari is an avid surfer and has traveled all over the globe in pursuit of his passion. He resides in Venice, California, with his wife.


Ari obtained his J.D., cum laude, in 2009 from Loyola Law School, where he graduated Order of the Coif. During law school, he served as a note and comment editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review and participated as a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. Ari also worked as a tutor for the Loyola Law School’s writing program. He graduated with a B.A. in global studies from University of California at Santa Barbara in 2004, during which period he studied abroad in Spain and interned for the U.S. Department of State in the U.S. Consulate General in Barcelona, Spain.
