San Diego-based corporate lawyer, Kit, focuses in data privacy, information security, intellectual property and technology transactions, and other commercial contracts.
In her privacy practice, Kit regularly works with clients to design and implement data privacy, information security, and risk management programs. Kit provides clients with creative and practical advice on meeting the requirements of state and federal privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). She crafts guidelines and compliance programs for clients’ collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in diverse contexts and for diverse clients including, investment funds, national residential and commercial property management companies, and market research firms. Her work includes drafting privacy and cookies policies and online service terms of use, assessing and managing privacy risks, including in connection with vendor contracts and corporate transactions, and negotiating privacy and security terms and agreements.
