LOS ANGELES – May 27, 2014 – Chambers and Partners has released its annual ranking of the premier business law firms in the U.S. and, for the 13th consecutive year, Allen Matkins is in the number one tier of real estate law firms in California. Chambers and Partners also recognized the firm's construction, environmental, and labor and employment practices among the best in the state.

Real Estate Practice: Allen Matkins provides national and international clients with a broad range of real estate services, and is particularly renowned for experience and expertise in significant leasing matters. The firm advised Boston Properties on its $311 million acquisition of three properties in San Francisco, including 680 Folsom Street and Kilroy Realty in its acquisition and subsequent lease of a planned 27-story office building in San Francisco.

Construction Practice: This practice represents and advises developer, construction, university and healthcare clients in construction disputes and transactions. The firm represented DPR Construction regarding its role in the $800 million construction of the UCSF Mission Bay Medical Center and advised Boston Properties on construction matters relating to its development of the Salesforce Tower, formerly known as the Transbay Tower, in San Francisco.
