First Generation Professionals: Turning Challenges Into Achievements

Achieving professional success can be even more challenging for individuals who are the first in their families to attend college. However, many attorneys have managed to build successful careers despite this obstacle. Through this program, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Hear personal stories from successful attorneys who were also first-generation college students, and who come from a variety of different backgrounds.
• Recognize both the internal and external challenges that first-generation professionals (FGPs) face.
• Learn about effective tools and strategies for leveraging FGP experiences.
• Engage in conversations with other FGPs and allies, discussing their own experiences and perspectives.
