  • Represent coffee producer in Proposition 65 citizens’ suit alleging obligation to warn consumers of chemicals in roasted coffee beans. 
  • Represented world's largest producer and marketer of high-quality fresh fruit and fresh vegetables in connection with a wrongful termination and retaliation claim. 
  • Represented major can manufacturer with respect to its acquisition of several can-manufacturing operations in transactions ranging from $10 million to $49 million in size. 
  • Represented a rice mill in connection with stormwater permitting requirements. 
  • Represented national cookie and bakery company in successful jury trial regarding distribution agreement dispute. 
  • Representing leading beer manufacturer in a multiple species habitat conservation counseling plan (MSHCP) for property in Riverside County; assisted in obtaining mid-seven figure sale of property to the Regional Conservation Authority. 
  • Represented a food processor and a food distributor in an EPA audit under EPA's Risk Management Program. 
  • Represented food manufacturer before regional air quality management agency and EPA, and in federal district court, in permitting and enforcement matters relating to volatile organic carbon emissions from can manufacturing operations. 
  • Represented major food producers in actions brought by EPA for alleged failure timely to report releases of ammonia from refrigeration system. 
  • Represented large food processing client in connection with regional contaminated groundwater Superfund site in negotiations with U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. EPA for terms of consent decree, and with potentially responsible parties (PRPs) regarding cleanup responsibilities, cost contribution, and resolution of claims for contamination and treatment costs by affected water purveyors. 
  • Represented brewing company in connection with build-to-suit brewery and restaurant project. 
  • Represented food manufacturer against a employee who filed an unfair labor practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board. 
  • Represented international fruit company to defend separate lawsuits by two employees claiming whistleblowing, safety and labor code violations, retaliation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, etc.
