This includes representing companies during appeals and investigations by various state and federal agencies, including the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, and the U.S. Department of Labor (including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Mine Safety and Health Administration). Allen Matkins also regularly advises clients regarding compliance with workplace safety regulations. This includes providing recommendations on preventative measures and on realistically navigating the “gray areas” of various safety regulations.
