Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Real Property Section, Commercial Development and Leasing Subsection, Co-Chair
Steve, a real estate partner in the Los Angeles office, values his relationship with each of his clients and takes the time to learn about the people he is representing, their businesses, and their end goals. He advises landlords and tenants in real estate transactions, with an emphasis on leasing matters, involving office, life science, retail, industrial, medical, shopping center, and mixed-use real estate projects across the West Coast and beyond. Steve also handles acquisitions and dispositions with respect to the same scope of properties.
Steve has a knack for finding simple solutions to complex problems, a skill he uses in counseling his clients on all facets of real estate law. Recently, he helped clients navigate the practical and legal hurdles in significant repurposing and retooling of office buildings and campuses into life science and mixed-use properties. Steve also has extensive experience negotiating solar facility leases, power purchase agreements, and all associated matters for a variety solar programs and solar developers/providers.
A former college athlete, Steve brings a high level of passion, diligence, and determination to his client engagements. He began his legal career as a judicial extern for the Honorable Brian J. Back, Ventura County Superior Court, followed by an internship at CMG Worldwide working in intellectual property management, and then planted his flag as a summer intern at Allen Matkins.
Steve is a member of the executive committee of the Real Property section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). He was formerly chair of the Commercial Development and Leasing subsection, but currently focuses on his involvement with the LACBA Real Property mentorship program.
