Neil N. Gluck

Partner

Neil is a partner whose practice concentrates on the legal aspects of real estate acquisition, leasing, sales, and development. Neil's clients include investment and development companies, institutional lenders such as life insurance companies, pension funds, banks and REITs, and corporate and facilities users. Deeply experienced on a broad range of leasing issues, he represents both landlords and tenants in office, retail, industrial, medical, shopping center, and mixed-use projects throughout California and various other states. Neil's clients rely on him to negotiate various agreements associated with lease transactions and management of properties, including broker listing and registration agreements, tenant improvement contracts, build-to-suit leases, straight leases, renewals, sublease and assignment transactions, lease takeovers, ground leases, property management agreements and parking agreements. He is also skilled in solving lease disputes and developing workout strategies. Neil has been involved in more than 30 million square feet of lease transactions in the last 10 years, including headquarters and corporate facilities transactions involving Carnation/Nestle, Wellpoint, TCW, Disney, TRW, Timberland and Wells Fargo Bank Inktomi and other various ".com" companies. With respect to acquisition, development, and sales transactions, Neil has extensive experience negotiating various sales and acquisition agreements, CC&Rs, development, and other related agreements.

Much in demand as a lecturer on real estate issues, he has spoken before real estate owners, developers, tenants, brokers, and property managers on such topics as Allocations of Free Rent for Tax Purposes; The New Age of Lease Negotiations, Documentation, Policies and Procedures; Leases and Property Damage, Brokerage Agreements; and Mechanic's Liens.
