Rachel is an associate in the San Francisco office and a member of the Real Estate practice. She represents clients in acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, and commercial leasing matters throughout the country. Rachel has represented landlords, tenants, and property owners in leasing and subleasing office, retail, restaurants, medical and laboratory facilities, R&D and warehouses. Her experience includes drafting purchase and sale documents, governing documents for hotels and mixed-use developments, commercial leases, and loan documents. Rachel’s experience also includes conducting due diligence relating to leasing, title, and land use matters for corporate and direct real estate acquisitions.
Rachel’s passion for the built environment stems from her educational background in city and regional planning. She also developed an interest in sustainable land use during law school, where she earned an Environmental Law Certificate, served as an article editor for the Ecology Law Quarterly, and interned for both the United Nations International Maritime Organization in the Marine Environment Division and the California Coastal Commission in the Enforcement Division.
Rachel has been recognized for her representation of pro bono clients in low-income residential evictions in the Bay Area. She is a member of APABA Silicon Valley.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Rachel was an associate with an AmLaw 10 firm.
