Matthew Nichols

Matthew is a land use associate in the Orange County office. His practice encompasses all aspects of the commercial real estate development process, from acquisition due diligence and project design, to community outreach, securing and defending entitlements, and construction. Matthew has a strong understanding of the many federal, state, and local land use and environmental laws impacting developments in California, including the California Environmental Quality Act, California Coastal Act, and Subdivision Map Act, while also helping clients anticipate the impact of initiatives on the horizon. In addition to land use matters, Matthew counsels clients on the acquisition and disposition of real property and other real estate transactional issues.
