As development of infill sites becomes increasingly prevalent, the likelihood increases of encountering hazards and hazardous materials during the evaluation of new development project sites. These hazards and hazardous materials require proper identification, characterization, remediation and disposal. This panel will explore the best practices for preparing Environmental Site Assessments (Phases I and beyond) and for utilizing them properly to respond to Appendix G of the CEQA Guidelines.
