Nazani Temourian
Senior Counsel
Nazani is senior counsel in the Orange County office. She has nearly a decade of experience resolving complex eminent domain, valuation, inverse condemnation, and other commercial real estate disputes for national and global property owners, developers, and businesses. Nazani advocates for full compensation for the firm's clients in all aspects of government takings of private property including precondemnation damages, business goodwill, and severance damages.
Nazani represents clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-filing strategy, drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, discovery, mediation, and trial. Although Nazani is a trial attorney, she routinely resolves disputes early in the process, sparing her clients the burden of costly and time-consuming litigation.
During law school, Nazani was a judicial extern for the Honorable Harry Pregerson of the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. She also served as a senior editor for the UCLA Law Review.

- Real estate operating company. Negotiated a $7 million settlement in connection with a public agency’s acquisition of portions of the client’s shopping center in Colton, California. The agency’s initial offer was less than $160,000.
- Private equity investment firm. Negotiated a settlement in connection with a public agency’s acquisition of portions of the client’s properties in Laguna Beach, California, settling for 471% above the agency’s initial offer.
- Global rental car company. Negotiated a $84 million settlement related to a Los Angeles County agency’s acquisition of the client’s property, a $50 million increase over the agency’s initial offer.
- Property owner. Negotiated a settlement in connection with a city’s threatened acquisition of the client’s property, convincing the city’s governing body not to exercise its power of eminent domain and settling for 116% above the city’s initial offer.
- Real estate development and management company. Negotiated a $25.5 million settlement related to a Los Angeles County agency’s acquisition of portions of the client’s property for a subway project, increasing monetary compensation for the client by nearly $10 million.
