Shauna E. Woods

Senior Counsel

Trial lawyer Shauna believes that her most important case is the one she is currently working on. Her diligence, combined with her can-do and client-centric approach, has proven successful in her representation of real estate, entertainment, and technology companies in a variety of disputes in state court, in federal court, and in arbitration.

Shauna is a life-long learner, and she enjoys garnering an in-depth understanding of each client’s business and industry and their unique business needs. Her practice allows her to help clients solve complex problems and navigate particularly difficult situations, and her experience includes negotiating and enforcing settlements, counseling clients on the best resolutions for their business, and working out a variety of business disputes through negotiation.

As an intern at Inner City Law Center during college, Shauna was inspired to earn her law degree so she could assist individuals in underserved communities. She has an active pro bono practice, and she has helped many people in need obtain asylum and Special Immigration Juvenile Status (SIJS). In 2020, Shauna worked with Inner City Law Center on a pro bono basis to secure a settlement of approximately $1.1 million from several corporate landlords and a former property manager who were attempting to push low-income Latinx families out of an apartment building in a quickly gentrifying neighborhood. Her work earned her a special award from the City of Lancaster.

Shauna served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Virginia A. Phillips in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles, California.

Accolades

  • Named to Southern California Rising Stars by Super Lawyers (2024 - 2025)
