Allen Matkins Attorney Timothy Hutter Named Building Industry Association's 'Rookie of the Year'

SAN DIEGO – September 23, 2014 – Allen Matkins, a California-based full service real estate and business law firm, congratulates litigation attorney Timothy Hutter for winning the Building Industry Association (BIA) of San Diego's 2014 "Rookie of the Year" Award. Tim is the first-ever attorney to be named BIA's Rookie of the Year, an honor open to anyone in his or her first five years in the industry. The real estate industry group's annual Icon Awards was held on Saturday, September 20, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla.

The BIA of San Diego's Icon Awards are held each year to honor individuals, companies and projects for their success and contributions to San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties' real estate industries. All of the Icon finalists were selected after a peer nomination and interview process. Tim has been active in the BIA since he began working at Allen Matkins in 2009. He sits on the BIA of San Diego's board of directors for its Y-Gen group and has helped organize the BIA’s mentor program for a number of years.

Tim is a member of Allen Matkins' Litigation Department in which his practice focuses primarily on business and real estate disputes, including contract, construction, joint venture, land use and landlord/tenant litigation. He's also member of the firm's Community Outreach Committee and volunteers at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Poway.
