Allen Matkins Partner Alan Hearty Joins Century City Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES – July 11, 2018 – Allen Matkins, a California-based full service real estate and business law firm, announced today that Alan Hearty, a partner in the firm's Century City office, has joined the Century City Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. Alan Hearty was officially sworn in at the Chamber's Board meeting on July 11, 2018.

Alan Hearty is tasked with helping to grow and strengthen the business community in Century City as it undergoes a significant transformation, including the $2.5 billion Century Plaza development, the $1 billion expansion and upgrade of the Century City Mall and the Purple Line Subway Extension, among other major projects. Allen Matkins has had an office in Century City since 1982 and its attorneys represent a majority of the surrounding building owners and developers.

"Century City is undergoing huge changes with billions of dollars being invested in major development projects," says Alan Hearty, who has a robust litigation practice which focuses on real estate and complex commercial disputes. "I am very excited to play a role in contributing to the success and growth of this thriving and flourishing business community."

It places special emphasis on its members working together to build effective relationships. It also creates relevant programs that help individuals and companies expand their marketplace reach. Under the clear and powerful guidance of many energetic committees and councils, the Century City Chamber has grown to encompass representatives from virtually every industry, helping to make Century City one of Los Angeles’ most prestigious business communities.

Alan Hearty is one of the preeminent attorneys in Los Angeles representing real estate owners, developers and investors on various legal issues relating to projects in Malibu, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Bel-Air, Beverly Hills and DTLA, among other areas. His client base is extensive and includes real estate companies based in North America, Asia and Europe. Alan Hearty's commercial litigation experience includes representing clients involved in the real estate, banking, entertainment, apparel and telecommunications industries. He is head of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Group at Allen Matkins and has served on the Education Committee of the California Wireless Association (CalWA).
