"Being elected to the College is a remarkable honor, one that is attributed only to the country's preeminent and most accomplished real estate attorneys," says Anton N. Natsis, chair of Allen Matkins' renowned Real Estate Department, and also a member of ACREL. "Pete has worked on some of California's, if not the country's, most high-profile and complex real estate matters and is widely considered one of the industry's top dealmakers. Congratulations to Pete for this well deserved recognition."
Peter is one of only 40 attorneys nationwide elected to ACREL in 2014. He joins Allen Matkins attorneys Bruce W. Hyman, Gregg J. Loubier, Richard C. Mallory, Natsis and Sonia J. Ransom. Formal inductions will take place later this year.
Practicing out of Allen Matkins' Century City office, Peter is a member of the firm's Real Estate Department, as well as its Office and Shopping Center, Retail & Mixed-Use Industry Groups. He specializes in strategic planning, negotiation and documentation of the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing and management of office, retail, industrial and mixed-use projects throughout California. His clients include some of the most prominent real estate developers in the country, as well as highly sophisticated institutional investors and entrepreneurial individuals and entities.
ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers have been elected to membership not only for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law, but also for their contributions to the real estate and legal professions through their practices, their legal writings and their public speaking. The purpose of the College is to gather together lawyers who will contribute substantially to the accomplishments, achievements and good fellowship of the College and to the best interests of the bar and the general public.
Allen Matkins, founded in 1977, is a California-based law firm with more than 200 attorneys in four major metropolitan areas of California: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco and San Diego.
