Jacob Aronson was quoted in an article that appeared in Law360 (subscription required), which discussed a recent ruling from the D.C. Circuit that questioned whether the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) has the authority to tell other agencies how to interpret the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). In the article, Jacob explains that he has clients developing energy projects who are uncertain how the decision effects rules set by the Bureau of Land Management and other agencies, "We're looking at individual agency NEPA regulations and trying to understand to what extent those regulations for each agency are still valid and can still be relied upon." Jacob recently wrote an Alert on this topic.
