Law360 (April 4, 2019) [Allen Matkins was] among more than a dozen law firms that worked on the largest real estate mergers and acquisitions of a busy first quarter, and all 10 of the period’s largest deals were above the $1 billion mark. Rounding out the Top 10 was a purchase by Colony Capital Inc. of 54 industrial buildings for roughly $1.2 billion. For the purchase, Colony Capital looked to Thomas Henry and Daniel Backer of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. The seller, which Colony Capital did not name, had help on the deal from Michael Pruter at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP. The portfolio spans roughly 11.9 million square feet, and the properties are a combined 71 percent leased.
