John Condas was quoted in "Warehouse Law May Duplicate Local Regulations" in California Planning & Development Report by Josh Stephens. The article discussed California Assembly Bill 98, which was recently signed by Governor Newsom. AB 98 restricts the siting and design of all industrial facilities over 250,000 square feet and is designed to reduce pollution from the diesel trucks used for transport to and from these facilities.

John says that the law could invite further litigation, which is already common. In addition, he believes that AB 98 may "undercut cities' discretion and, therefore, their ability to craft lucrative agreements--among other benefits."
