Eoin employs a responsive and collaborative approach to solving problems, aiming to find creative solutions for even the most complex land use and environmental issues. He provides counsel for clients in a variety of related areas, ranging from entitlements and due diligence to environmental review.
Eoin works closely with regulators and the public sector in helping clients navigate the intricate federal, state, and local regulations that govern development projects. He enjoys getting involved from the inception of major projects and providing support from the planning stages through completion. Through his work, Eoin has developed a deep understanding of the regulatory challenges facing developers, particularly those related to land use and zoning issues.
Prior to attending law school, Eoin spent three years working at the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI) in Washington, D.C., a federally-funded research and development center established by Congress to provide technical expertise and policy analysis to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the science-conducting agencies of the federal government. While at STPI, Eoin provided OSTP with subject matter expertise, policy analysis, and research support on the topics of space weather and civilian earth observations. This experience gave Eoin unique insights on the federal policy development process and a greater understanding of the regulatory landscape and how it impacts his current real estate and development clients.
Eoin began his legal career as an intern at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office while in law school. He also served as an Articles Editor for the UCLA Law Review and conducted faculty-guided research on the history and evolution of risk-based decision and policy making at federal environmental agencies. In addition, he was a part of the UCLA Law Fellows Program, where he helped to guide undergraduate and graduate students in preparing to apply to law school.
