California and Delaware Law Annual Update

On April 2, 2020 from Noon until 1:30 pm join Delaware attorney Michael D. Allen, a director at Richards, Layton & Finger, and California attorney Keith Paul Bishop, a partner at Allen Matkins for a review of case law and legislative developments during the last year. Michael Allen counsels corporations, officers, directors, board committees, and stockholders in connection with a wide variety of transactional and advisory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, proxy contests, stockholder meetings, and corporate governance issues. Mr. Allen will be discussing, among other things, recent Delaware case law developments regarding advance notice bylaw provisions and Section 220 demands. Keith Bishop is former California Commissioner of Corporations and he is a practice consultant to Marsh & Volk’s Practice Under the California Securities Laws and has contributed to Marsh's California Corporation Law. Mr. Bishop will highlight decisions and legislation affecting California corporations and foreign corporations located in California.
