Joseph L. McGeady
Partner
Joe is a litigator in the San Diego office. His practice includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial litigation matters. Joe has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, including drafting and arguing pre-trial motions, taking and defending depositions, and direct and cross-examining witnesses.
Before entering private practice, Joe spent nearly three years serving as a law clerk to the Honorable M. James Lorenz, United States District Judge for the Southern District of California. During law school, Joe served as an extern to the Honorable Thomas J. Whelan, also a United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of California.
Before college, Joe spent six years serving as an electronics technician in the United States Navy. Joe deployed four times onboard the USS Ronald Reagan, a nuclear aircraft carrier.
